It takes me an hour to write and send about ten characters on a cell phone, so I don't do text messages.

It takes a bit to get used to.This may be a silly question, but is there texting? It is a more reliable form of communication.

It's fine, although yesterday when the power went out and I wanted to call the utility, I discovered that I did not know how to dial it. Apparently you have to press the "send" button after dialing a number. Who knew?

I just absolutely can not wait until next month. They'll finally be running cable lines through my area of the "hills n' hollers". That was the only downside to relocating to my current residence. I love the country though, but imagine being a computer programmer with dialup. It is horrendous! Soon though, soon. Then maybe I'll be able to check out all these you tube vids you guys keep posting!
